Catania Issues Statement on RAND Corporation Report Print E-mail
Health Committee Chairman Pleased with Comprehensive and Science-Based Approach
 
Washington, D.C. – Councilmember David A. Catania (At-Large), Chairman of the Committee on Health, issued the following statement on the newly issued report from the RAND Corporation assessing healthcare in the District of Columbia:
 
“RAND has provided a comprehensive and science-based assessment of the health status of our residents. The report will help the Council and the Mayor to strategically eliminate health disparities that exist in the District.  It represents a wise investment of our time and resources, and I look forward to many discussions about how to apply the report’s findings to real-world policymaking.”
