Initiative Sponsor Says Catania Legislation is Best Hope for Medical Marijuana
Washington, D.C. – Councilmember David Catania drew praise from one of the original sponsors of Initiative 59 (Medical Marijuana) in today’s Washington Post. Wayne Turner said that legislation authored by Catania, “represents the best chance to implement medical marijuana and to protect those patients whose quality of life may depend upon this medication of last resort.”
